Cancellation policy

Cancellation and change terms depend on the hotel rate, rental provider, vehicle, dates, and offer you select.

Before you book

Review the cancellation deadline, refund amount, change rules, payment timing, and no-show policy shown with the offer. “Free cancellation” applies only until the date and time displayed and may exclude taxes, fees, deposits, or special add-ons.

Hotel cancellations

Flexible hotel bookings may be cancelled before the stated deadline without a supplier cancellation fee. Late cancellations, no-shows, shortened stays, and non-refundable or prepaid rates may be charged in full or in part. The property’s policy controls the result.

If a property cannot honor a confirmed booking, contact Booktosave promptly. We will work with the supplier to identify an available resolution, which may include relocation, a replacement option, or a refund when appropriate.

Car rental cancellations

Car rental cancellation terms vary by provider and payment type. A prepaid rental may have a cancellation fee or may be non-refundable. If you do not arrive at the scheduled time, the provider may release the vehicle and treat the reservation as a no-show.

Changing a vehicle, location, driver, or rental dates may create a new price or fee. Contact us before making a second booking if you need help changing an existing reservation.

How to cancel or change

Use My trips to look up your reservation and follow the available cancellation or change instructions. If self-service options are not available, contact support with your confirmation number. Do not assume that failing to arrive cancels a booking.

Refund timing

When a refund is approved, it is generally returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the supplier, payment provider, bank, and currency. A bank may show a refund on a later statement, and exchange-rate differences or bank fees may affect the amount received.

Exceptional circumstances

We may review unusual circumstances at our discretion, but an exception is not guaranteed and does not change the written policy for future bookings. Government restrictions, severe weather, illness, or other events may be handled differently by the supplier or applicable law.
